Using simple palette from the game and drawing inspiration from French comics, we designed a black and white animation with clean, linear style. Using paper textures and subtle line jitter effects, we crafted something visually striking despite its simplicity.

Since Bandit is best enjoyed with four people, we created exactly that many characters. Their simple design matches the animation's style, with eyes as the only facial feature - a subtle nod to the game's logo.

We wanted to highlight an essential aspect of he game - it can be played anywhere. Whether at a bar, at home, at a party, in the park, or on vacation. That's why our four characters are always shown in the same arrangement and pose with only their surroundings and outfits changing to reflect different settings.

We animated everything using Adobe After Effects.

To better understand the rules, our client visited us at our studio! We had a pleasure of playing a few rounds, asking questions, and simply having a great time. It was a fantastic way to immerse ourselves in the game before bringing it to life through animation. And we have the proof!
