Our team created two animated videos for Global Rescue, a company with a long history as a leader in the travel industry. They provide comprehensive solutions that minimize travel risk and deliver crisis management services worldwide, supported by an experienced team of professionals from diverse medical backgrounds.
Storyboards
Each video follows the same narrative structure. We are introduced to the main character in the heart of the wild, where a series of unfortunate events leads to a tragic accident and serious injury. The story then shifts to show how the Global Rescue team responds quickly and professionally, carrying out a complex rescue operation.
Illustration
The stories we told were based on real events, which made it essential to present them in a realistic yet visually engaging way. We chose to create painterly illustrations with a muted color palette dominated by greens, browns, and blues, which best highlighted the natural beauty of the landscapes.
To ensure accurate representation of all locations, we relied on reference photos provided by the client. These ranged from dense jungles and natural environments to offices from which Global Rescue operations are coordinated.
Animation
As with most of our projects, we chose to combine animation created in MOHO with motion design produced in After Effects. The key characteristics of the animation developed for this project include a strong narrative focus, steady pacing, smooth transitions between shots, parallax effects to create the illusion of depth, and a careful emphasis on dramatic moments.
