We designed and animated a video for the Security@me team to showcase their cybersecurity tool that helps companies manage their private documentation. In this project we could play around with character animation and interfaces which go along with a great sounds and music inspired by the 80s.
Characters
We explored animating a range of emotions and facial expressions, which can be challenging given the characters’ overall simplicity. Despite this, we successfully conveyed nuanced expressions while staying true to the minimal style.
Motion graphics
We tried to make interface animation as fun as possible. By combining frame by frame animation with After Effects motion design, we created witty windows in the style of the 80s.
Storyboards
Making of
In this short film we used camera movement to get a nice parallax effect, as well as zoom-ins, zoom-outs, and other tricks. It helped us achieve a 3D feeling within 2D animation.
