Mascot for Fundamental Finance
We designed a mascot for our client, Fundamental Finance, for their FunFi app. In addition to the mascot itself, we created a set of eleven illustrations to appear in specific sections of the application.
Since a bull is featured in the Fundamental Finance logo, the client wanted users to be guided through the app by a friendly, helpful bull character.
Concept Sketches
We began with exploratory sketches to find the ideal bull. We were looking for slightly cartoonish characters that would feel fun, cute, and encourage engagement.
Design
Once the concept was approved, we moved on to vector illustrations to refine and finalize the design. We focused on the purple tones defined in the client’s brand book to ensure visual consistency with the brand.
Poses and Expressions
After the mascot design was approved, we created a range of emotions and scenarios to showcase the character in different situations within the app like...
A happy mascot after passing a test or a sad mascot when the user selects the wrong answer, and so on. For some of these scenarios, we created several illustration options to choose from.
